Does not include the rack mount ears or network card. We have limited number of these and can supply at £10 and £50 respectively. When we run out of the original rack mount ears we will build our own from aluminium L-extrusions.

The UPS is a modern design, pure sine wave double conversion UPS that has the ability to cold start. The cellpack we will be able to supply batteries for when the times comes (Normal cell life is 3-6 years). It is a high efficiency design, and one advantage of this modernity is that it is quite light and can be easily handled by one strong person. The unit is a current model and you can find it for between £500 and £600 online currently. This unit will perform exactly the same job, but is used, and cheaper.

There is a fan that runs continuously and I would not recommend this for use in a quiet environment because of that. It does throttle up and down, but is normally quite fast flowing.

The UPS has a USB port and can be connected easily to a computer. I have shown it connected to my Windows 7 machine. No drivers were needed, and as you can see in the pictures the device was recognised, reported its battery level and could auto shutdown using native windows components - no software downloads.

If needed the SNMP network cards are available at added cost. We reset these to DHCP handshake to get a network address, and admin/admin for username password. They give advanced stats and control. The UPS has multiple output segments that you can turn on and off via software. I have only done this when a network card is installed. Note that the screenshots of the SNMP card being used were made on a 3KVA version, but comparable info would be present for the 1500 in this listing.

There is the option to add on external battery packs to increase runtime.

The unit is used, A-Grade. This means functionally it is identical to new, but you should expect some marks + signs of previous use.

Under normal circumstances orders before 3PM are dispatched on the day of order. Large units / quantities may roll over to being dispatched the next day. Email if you need to be sure of when we can send an order. We try to meet all customer deadlines.

All of our consignments are sent fully insured on a 24 hour service with our carriers. We cover all problems that occur in transit. We can ship to the EU (transit time varies) and have experience packing and shipping to overseas destinations. The EU shipping costs are estimated only, please contact us for confirmation before ordering. We have the packing materials to make sure that there are no problems in transit. Our warehouse is based in the UK. VAT is included in the buy it now price, and if you are VAT registered you will be able to reclaim this. VAT Invoices are sent automatically as a PDF file, via email, as part of our automated dispatch process.
